Catcher #2

Overall throughout the story Holden can be thought of to be a rude and inconsiderate teenager.  However I feel he is caring and nice.  He constantly is doing the right thing.  For instance, he gave money to the nuns and talked to them giving them conversation when they were probably tired.  Also, he buys a record for phoebe to make her happy. In addition, I felt that while Holden was at the museum he felt like a kid.  I think he also noticed how things around him are changing and that he can't always be fooling around because life is still going on with or without him. Lastly, I feel Holden is much like a normal kid growing up today.  He is angered by petty issues of daily life, and cannot control his emotions just like most teenagers growing up today.
